ROGER BALLEW, operator of Ballew's Texaco Service Station, 600 Jefferson Street, Dallas, Texas, advised he was on duty the afternoon of November 22, 1963, when an individual apparently responsible for the shooting of a uniform Dallas, Texas, police officer had passed the station and entered the parking lot of Ballew's Texaco Service Station.

BALLEW advised he had not seen the individual go into the parking lot. However, MARY BROCK, wife of ROBERT BROCK, an automobile mechanic employed by Ballew's Texaco Service Station, had observed the individual passing the station and entering the parking lot.

ROGER BALLEW advised the Dallas, Texas, Police Department had located a jacket underneath a 1954 Oldsmobile which was parked in parking space # 17, which was believed to be the jacket worn by the individual who had earlier shot the Dallas police officer.

BALLEW advised he could furnish no further information concerning this matter.
